The Jyväskylä Festival children’s programme kicks off with the traditional and beloved Oikokatu street painting event on 5.7. from 11 to 13, directly after the children’s festival opening ceremony. Throw on clothes that can stand a little splatter of paint and bring your own dish for the paint – the paint is provided at the park.

The end result is an annually changing piece of street art, consisting of every participant’s artistic contribution, delighting citizens until the paint wears off. The fun and lively painting event is free of charge and open for all!
